I love smart keyboard as its so customizable. Im just wondering if you will be implementing sliding features like swype? I also like swype but there are only a few options and i think adding a swype like option will make this keyboard even better.
Slide-it keyboard doesnt work as well as swype.

Hopefully it will come soon? Then it will be complete! Slide-it and Swype isn't as customizable as smartkeyboard.

Well I don't know. Swype has a philosophy completely opposite to Smart Keyboard, so it's much more than option, it would almost be a new app to develop.

It doesn't have to be a new app, if it has to be call it Smarter Keyboard? =P
It should be possible to integrate the feature. HTC Has there own now called 'Trace'. And it kinda sucks.
If you believe that Smart Keyboard should be completely different, then keep it that way. This was only a suggestion
I can guarantee that implementing the slide feature will attract a lot more users.

I too think it would benefit SKP to add some Swype functionality to it.
I'm not sure what philosophy would be different. I used to use SKP for a long time as my only keyboard. But now for languages like English, Spanish, and Arabic I can swype my words and my typing is a lot faster. I still use SKP for it's very diverse category of languages it supports, but it's tiring to type for a long period of time when you have to tap each letter.
I would think adding swyping features would feed right into the philosophy of SKP. I still use and love this software but it is kind of hard to slow myself down from the 45+wpm I get with swype-like keyboards.
This keyboard adding swype will make it be so I only need to use two keyboards instead of the four I currently am switching between.

I don't know what I'm asking since I have no idea how the technologies work, but I *really* like using SWYPE, and I *really* hate the look of that keyboard and that, for some reason, I lose the speech-to-text icon/function.
Is it possible to simply replace the look or the graphic of the keyboard?
And then add back that mic icon for speech-to-text?

I like how swype works. But hate the look and it's lack of options.
I love smartkeyboard as its so customizable and is quick.
