Coming back to Android

Post by boowalley »

What have I missed with SKP. How many updates have I missed. I got the iPhone 4s so I guess I have been gone about 8 months. I'm ordering the SG3 tonight, so I'm really excited that I'll be back in the fold. I really missed this keyboard. Anything exciting happened with this keyboard while I was cheating :?:

You really did not miss much.

One thing I can say, though, is that multiple users have reported several bugs with Smart Keyboard on Android 4.0 (what your GSIII will come with).

So far the keyboard is working just as advertised on my SG3 although the Voice input still seems to be stuck in gingerbread mode. But the thing is that the voice input is really accurate so I'm not complaining. I see that next word prediction is all the rage now but it seems to actually slow me down but helps me with words that have difficult spelling. It's is still my default keyboard but I alternate between it and SwiftKey. SwiftKey has awesome next work prediction but it takes some getting use to. Sometime it puts periods where you want a word etc; but overall I have not found a better keyboard in the Playstore yet. I was hoping that when I came back there would be some exciting new features but it's basically that same and that's not a bad thing since no one else except for maybe SwiftKey comes close.
